My, my, isn't it ironic that just a few months ago I wrote
a scathing post about what a raw deal it is to be a work-while-staying-at-home mom and yet here I am, announcing the opening of
my brand new etsy shop. Amusing, to say the least.
Though I'm not sure I'm really looking at this as a "job" but as an outlet for my new hobby. And hopefully one that will help pay for said hobby, which by the way can be kinda expensive. So what am I selling at
my etsy shop? Photo note cards, printed by yours truly and featuring my own photography. The paper and envelopes used are made of 100% recycled paper, so they're "green", too.

Here's a sample of the cards I'm selling:

So stop on by if you have an extra minute or two and take a look around. I plan to add more card styles over the coming days/weeks, including a few different categories so check back every so often to see what's new (I'm sure I'll be posting updates on here as well). I'd also appreciate feedback, yes even the negative type-- I want to hear what y'all think of the cards, the photos, what you like, what you don't, etc. You can email me at mightymarce at gmail dot com.
THANKS, and happy shopping!!

so glad to see you set up finally! :)
And there's nothing wrong with turning your passion into an enterprising business - best kind of business in fact.
great cards - what it etsy?
@popeyesmom - Etsy.com is a website sort of like ebay (except no auctions) where people can set up their ouwn shops and sell their handmade items. That's part of it, everything is handmade (or vintage items), so nothing is mass-produced and you know every item has a story. Really cool site. =)
